Mission
YojanaMitr is a website aimed at reducing financial disparity in the country by educating and encouraging the underprivileged section of the society to get involved in government schemes, in order to improve their own financial condition. This website acts as a portal where these people can access all this information that is not readily available at all places. We have a vision of reducing financial inequality in India and has been building several projects alongside this one to contribute to this cause.
Our Impact
YojanaMitr was born two years ago with the goal of increasing financial literacy and also acting as a tool for economic upliftment. Now, after two years, and countless hours of work and effort, I am proud to say, YojanaMitr has made a small, but valuable impact. In the past two years, we have-
1. Developed a one-stop website including most major financial schemes by the central government, information regarding these schemes with information ranging from eligibility to documents required, helpline numbers, downloadable forms in both English and Hindi, and most importantly, instructions to fill in every single part of these forms.
2. India is a country of many cultures and languages. Hence, to further our goal, our website has been built in 11 major Indian languages from all parts of the country.
3. Had a direct impact on 20,000+ Indian citizens.
4. Held community sessions with numerous NGOs from different geographical areas of the country.
5. Engaged a network of 20+ volunteers.
But most importantly, furthered our goal of reducing economic disparity in India.
